About the role  

Reporting to the General Manager of Bedding, as a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and reviewing bedroom furniture products that meet a high standards of quality and value, with the intention of recommending the bedroom furniture to relevant Harvey Norman® Franchisees nationwide.

Responsibilities include; 

  • Building and maintaining efficient relationships with bedroom furniture suppliers.
  • Identifying and recommending bedroom furniture products
  • Planning, recommending, and executing advertising strategies across multiple media channels.
  • Communicating recommended promotions and strategies to each relevant Franchisee.
  • Managing relevant committees and supporting annual conferences.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager of Bedding to identify and recommended bedroom furniture products.
  • Providing weekly updates to the business and ad-hoc reporting when required.
  • Identifying and recommending visual merchandising standards to this relevant Franchisees.

About you  

You will have previous experience as a buyer in a retail environment. You have a keen interest in working with colour, current and emerging styling trends.

You will also have: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Retail experience in a medium to large organisation with multiple locations, along with a strong understanding of consumer trends and buying behaviours.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to prioritise and control your own workload in our fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • A high level of professionalism and dedication to the business.
