About the role  

Harvey Norman’s Information Technology Department’s core focus is to deliver innovative IT solutions by delivering crucial projects to achieve the strategic goals of the business.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work on the design, development, and enhancement of the in-house built applications for Harvey Norman. You will contribute to the design and implementation of further adoption of the C# and .Net development frameworks and deliver the implementation of multiple software solutions that will contribute significantly to the delivery of important initiatives.

About you  

As a C#. Net Developer, you will have experience developing end to end features across the entire software stack, including rich client applications and database technologies.

You will also have: 

  • Ability to conduct system analysis and design, estimation and to provide realistic solutions within tight deadlines and commitments
  • Review peer developed products and unit test scripts
  • Experience with WPF
  • Experience with MVC, IIS, JSON/XML/ REST APIs/Web Services/MVVM
  • Experience in Object Oriented design
  • Experience in the application of the software development lifecycle of both front and back-end development capabilities
  • Experience with Automated Unit Test frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit
  • Familiarity with Subversion/Git and CI/CD systems
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Systems software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to work as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • The confidence and communication skills to present solutions and ideas
