About the role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and based onsite at our corporate office in Homebush West, this entry level will focus on administering the day-to-day accounting requirements of the property team. Your efforts will contribute to the efficient and accurate management of the company’s project financial records and processes. Key responsibilities include reconciling project related invoices, preparing monthly account summaries (including cash flows and credit card reconciliations), and performing data entry to maintain cost spreadsheets for construction project claims.
Responsibilities include;
- Preparing purchase orders and processing invoices for payment.
- Managing the accounts receivable for the department including issuing invoices, monthly statements, and collections.
- Maintaining project related data in excel spreadsheets.
- Assisting with maintaining the departments asset register.
- Handling telephone enquiries and coordinating with clients and suppliers as required.
- General clerical and ad-hoc duties when required.
About you
You will have previous experience in an administrative role, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively. You will also be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
You will also have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
