About the role
Based at our Homebush West corporate office and reporting to the Planning Manager, you will play a key role in delivering successful fit-out projects through accurate measurement surveying and producing detailed AutoCAD drawings. These drawings will capture site conditions, fit-outs, services, and ceiling layouts, enabling effective collaboration with our projects and design teams across a diverse range of internal fit-outs for all brands in Australia and New Zealand.
You will also;
- Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports and proactively assist in resolving any emerging issues.
- Provide direct updates to management, highlighting potential concerns and implications related to building elements.
This role is primarily based onsite at our Homebush West office, with travel required—including domestic trips across Australia and New Zealand—to visit sites and conduct surveys and measurements.
About you
You’ll have well-rounded experience in a surveying-focused role, supported by relevant architectural or surveying qualifications. You will have a current driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand as required.
You will also have;
- Experience using AutoCAD with a high level of proficiency.
- Proven ability to provide administrative support with minimal supervision i.e. records management.
- Great organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated capability to plan, prioritise, and deliver work within set timeframes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
