About the role

Reporting to the Network Services Manager and based on-site at our Silverwater office, you will play a key role in delivering Harvey Norman’s next-generation network transformation across Australia and New Zealand. This position focuses on replacing legacy Cisco WiFi and switching infrastructure with Juniper Mist AI solutions. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless design, implementation, and migration activities while maintaining best-practice standards for network performance and reliability.

You will;

• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation including HLD, LLD, Implementation Plans, and As-built reports.
• Migrate from Cisco switches to Juniper Mist-based switches with configuration development
• Drive switch and access point implementation activities remotely with on-site support staff
• Manage services and user migration from old WiFi and wired networks to new Juniper networks
• Attend after-hours switch implementation activities
• Deliver training to team members on Juniper Mist Wireless & Wired Assurance
• Validate all project documents and upload them to the central repository.
• Review current and proposed floor plan mark-ups for switch and access point placement.
• Develop SOPs for Juniper access points and switches for BAU tasks.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and assurance reporting throughout the transition.

About you  

You will have similar experience in network design and migration projects, ideally within large-scale enterprise environments. You are confident working with Juniper Mist AI solutions and have a solid background in Cisco networking technologies.

You will also have;

• Routing & Switching expertise (CCNP R&S / CCIE R&S preferred).
• Juniper certifications: JNCIA-MistAI, JNCIS-MistAI-Wireless, JNCIS-MistAI-Wired, JNCIP-MistAI.
• Hands-on experience with JUNOS CLI for Juniper DC switches and Mist portal for Juniper EX4000/EX4100 series.
• Experience with Fortigate Firewall configuration and Fortinet SD-WAN solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
