About the role  

Harvey Norman’s Information Technology Department’s core focus is to deliver innovative IT solutions by delivering crucial projects to achieve the strategic goals of the business.

Reporting to the Server and Enterprise Services Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team to build, deploy and maintain our Windows Server systems.  

Responsibilities include; 

• Complex organisational structures requiring creative technical solutions
• Able to analyse current working practices and look at better methods
• Participate in critical initiatives across the organisation
• Work as an integral member of a business support focused team
• Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests to a high quality
• Participate in incident management, problem management, root cause analysis and change management following internal processes
• Automate all critical & repeatable tasks
• Create and update documentation, user guides and contribute to the knowledge base
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure

About you  

You will be an experienced Systems Administrator/Engineer with experience implementing and maintaining complex systems to ensure seamless business operations.

You will also have: 

• Certifications, such as VCP, CCNA, MCP or MCSE
• In-Depth experience in; Windows Server, VMware, O365, SCCM, SOE, Azure and MS Exchange
• Willing to take ownership and see items of work through to their resolution
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a desire to improve processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
