The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Design Coordinator has become available, to join the Retail Planning & Design Team located in Homebush West.

Reporting to the Head of Design, you will support the wider team by coordinating and implementing retail store design concepts and fixtures. You will provide professional advice and guidance to stakeholders and have the ability to build, maintain and influence strong relationships across project teams as this is fundamental to the success of this role. You will also: 

• Support all administrative tasks within the design process including maintaining drawings in AutoCAD
• Support the team to adhere to all council and statutory building compliance requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with external & internal stakeholders
• Attend sites locally and interstate for supplier meetings when required 

About you
You will be a creative thinker and have a passion for store designs and thrive in a heavily administrative collaborative environment, but most of all, be excited to be a part of a large retail icon. You will have an eye for detail, to ensure processes are aligned to corporate and brand standards.

To be successful you will have:

• Exposure and an understanding of council and all other statutory building compliance requirements
• Confidence to communicate projects and briefs to stakeholders
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with external & internal stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills along with excellent communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• 3D studio Max, AutoCAD and V ray experience is desirable
• Demonstrated experience following procedures, policies, and records management in a large organisation
• Ability to travel locally and interstate when required
