About the role  

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will be part of a collaborative team of property professionals and gain hands‑on experience across a portfolio of freehold assets. The role involves assisting with the implementation of the Asset Management Strategy to support profitability and long‑term value outcomes.

You will also;

  • Conduct industry‑standard cycling reports, financial analysis, and market comparisons.
  • Manage property budgets with detailed income and expense reporting.
  • Prepare strategic asset plans and contribute to portfolio planning.
  • Deliver business cases aligned with asset and organisational objectives.
  • Handle day‑to‑day tenant communication, arrears, fit‑outs, and make‑good requirements.
  • Lead Property and Centre Management teams to maintain high customer service standards.
  • Maintain lease records and ensure accuracy across property databases.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on transactions, disputes, and documentation.
  • Negotiate lease renewals, assignments, sub‑leases, surrenders, and variations.

About you  

You will be an emerging property professional looking to take the next step in your commercial property career. With 2–3 years of experience in retail, commercial, or shopping centre property environments, you have a solid operational foundation and a genuine interest in progressing within the commercial property sector.

You will also have; 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while managing competing priorities.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favourable outcomes, build lasting relationships, and effectively resolve complex issues.
  • Proficient in drafting documents and offering strategic advice to property owners and clients.
