About the Role
You will act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders providing practical health, safety and wellbeing support that helps teams manage risk and improve performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on WHS legislation, risk management and company standards
- Partnering with operational leaders to improve safety performance and embed the Safe+Healthy Framework
- Leading incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action management
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits and site engagements
- Supporting risk assessments, SWMS reviews and hazard management activities
- Delivering training, toolbox talks and capability-building initiatives
- Analysing trends and providing practical recommendations to drive continuous improvement
- Supporting construction safety and high-risk work activities where required
About You
You may currently be a:
- Health & Safety Advisor
- WHS Advisor
- Injury Management or Wellbeing Specialist looking to broaden your scope
- Health & Safety Coordinator ready to step into a more autonomous advisory role
- Health professional looking to move into a Health and Safety career
Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys working with people and finding practical solutions that improve safety outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Qualifications or certifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
- Experience working in a Work, Health and Safety or Wellbeing role
- Working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, investigations and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
- A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
Experience within retail, warehousing, logistics, construction or multi-site operations will be highly regarded.
