About the role  

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be an integral part of our collaborative team based on-site at Homebush West, overseeing the daily operations of all Accounts Payable activities. Your role will involve managing the end-to-end processing of approved expensed and invoices, supporting efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities include; 

• Maintenance of records and payments
• Checking the completeness and accuracy of general ledger coding and franchisee approvals for expense request forms 
• Separating and distributing files, invoices, and expense forms
• Managing relationships with stakeholders within the business
• Managing queries from account holders via email and telephone
• Providing support with other ad-hoc tasks when required

About you  

You will be an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who has worked in a large organisation, possessing a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a tight knit team.

You will also have: 

• Knowledge of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
• Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge
• Experience with financial accounting systems (ie. SAP)
• Ability to grasp new concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel including VLOOKUP
