About the role
As a key member of the dynamic Cloud Services Team based onsite at the Homebush West corporate office, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Microsoft Azure integration services (AIS) platform, with a strong focus on Azure PaaS services.
In this role, you will work closely with integration development teams to ensure the platform meets the organization's security, capacity, performance, and reliability standards while optimizing operational efficiency. Your primary objective will be to deliver a flexible and scalable integration platform that supports the organization's evolving business needs.
Responsibilities include;
- Design & implement Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, Azure Firewall, storage accounts, Express routes, and other Azure services.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure our Azure infrastructure integrates seamlessly with our other IT systems.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the Azure Integration Services platform.
- Contribute to the Implementation & design of new integration patterns to internal and external endpoints.
- Maintain AIS Platform and adhere to standards and guidelines in the governance framework.
- Guide and drive the long-term evolution of the AIS platform components through research, experimentation, and implementation of emerging technologies.
- Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for deployments using Azure DevOps workflows and YAML scripting.
- Monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously optimise deployment efficiency.
- Participating in deployment and Release Management processes/standards.
- Stay informed on Azure best practices and emerging trends in cloud computing.
About you
You have experience and knowledge in Azure PaaS configurations, cloud operations, and networking, combined with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
You will also have:
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Integration PaaS services.
- Expertise in CI/CD principles, automation scripting and the ability to develop and support pipelines.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts (ARM templates, Azure Powershell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and tools, such as App Services, APIM, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus etc.
- Experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS Monitoring and Management.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of development methodologies and processes
- Familiarity with Azure Entra Identity and Access Management.
