About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Applications Delivery Manager and based onsite at the Homebush West Corporate Office, you will lead and mentor a cross-functional team supporting Harvey Norman Commercial’s application systems, ensuring platform reliability and scalability. You will provide expert-level support in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power Platform, manage incident resolution within SLAs, and align business requirements with strategic objectives.
You will gather, and document business requirements aligned with strategic Harvey Norman Commercial business objectives, collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions, and regularly report on support status to the Commercial Applications Delivery Manager.
You will also:
- Facilitate and conduct user training, workshops, and ongoing knowledge support to promote system adoption and maximise efficiency.
- Support change management activities including go-live planning, risk mitigation, and post deployment support.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as knowledge base articles, functional design documents, process flows, test cases, and user guides.
- Create functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams on delivery.
- Configure core modules based on business needs and best practices.
About you
You bring hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and proven mentorship in driving best practices, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Functional knowledge of D365 BC modules and their dependencies.
- Experience implementing D365 Business Central either individually or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in creating functional documentation and process mapping.
- Experience using ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams and other MS Office Applications.
- An understanding of Agile/Scrum and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) – valued but not essential.
