About the role  

As a key member of the SAP application team based onsite in Homebush West, your primary goal will be to support the SAP S/4HANA system. You will be responsible for resolving incidents, addressing system defects, and fulfilling enhancements requests.

Responsibilities include; 

• Handling incidents by determining resolutions or work-around solutions.
• Serving as the first point of contact for assistance resolution.
• Gathering business requirements for new enhancements.
• Preparing functional specifications for enhancements requiring development.
• Collaborating with SAP Developers on defect fixes and enhancements.
• Configuring SAP systems for necessary enhancements.
• Conducting Unit and System Testing for configuration changes, defect fixes, and new enhancements.
• Managing user acceptance testing for new enhancements.
• Training new users as required.
• Utilising the SAP Support Portal to search for OSS Notes for known issues.

About you  

You will have full project lifecycle experience implementing and supporting SAP FI / CO. You will also have extensive SAP application support and configuration experience, along with skills in building and maintaining effective working relationships with business users.

You will also have: 

• Experience in Unit, System, Integration, and Regression Testing within a Change and Release management environment.
• Experience with Service Management and Application Development Management software such as Service Now and Jira.
• Experience in logging tickets and researching OSS Notes with the SAP Support Portal.
• Strong business process and system analysis skills.
• Structured approach to solving problems and identifying solution options.
• Ability to work independently while prioritising commitments to required standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP idoc integration, and Fiori Apps, would be beneficial.
