About the role  

As an Inventory Allocator within the Harvey Norman Integrated Planning Team, you’ll play a key role in managing inventory flows and supporting franchise operations. Based at our Homebush West Corporate Office, you’ll collaborate with Merchandise Planning and store teams to analyse sales trends, monitor deliveries, and maintain balanced stock levels.

You will also;

  • Recommend inventory to stores based on sales performance & current inventory levels.
  • Support product launches & promotional events through strategic allocation planning.
  • Prepare and deliver actionable inventory reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Track and resolve aged orders with suppliers, including processing cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate records and registers for all inventory-related enquiries.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support the planning function with administrative and operational tasks.

About you  

You are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to develop your career in inventory management. You thrive on working with data, uncovering trends, and using digital tools to drive smarter decisions. Your communication skills help you build rapport across all levels of the business.

You will also have:

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience ideally in planning or allocation product roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and the ability to extract insights from data.
  • A collaborative mindset focused on trust and teamwork.
  • The ability to translate complex ideas into clear, practical actions.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational habits and a proactive approach.
