About the role
Reporting to the User Services Manager and based onsite between the corporate offices in Silverwater and Homebush West, this is a hands-on role within a close-knit IT Operations Team where you’ll troubleshoot, problem-solve, identify continuous improvements and continually grow your existing skills as a Desktop Administrator while supporting users across the business.
You will also;
- Provide responsive end-user support and remote troubleshooting to resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices (including mobile phones and scanners), printers, and in-house or out of the box software.
- Support and maintain systems including Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow Ticketing System, Point of Sale System.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of end user issues and continuously achieve high end user satisfaction levels meeting SLAs’.
- Demonstrate an understanding of enterprise level LAN and WAN environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document solutions, update knowledge articles, and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing.
About you
As a Desktop Administrator, you will be responsible for providing Level 2 support across hardware, devices, peripherals and desktop environments, working closely with end users, internal IT teams and external vendors.
You will also have;
- Experience resolving complex Level 2 technical issues across hardware, devices, peripherals, and desktop environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity principles.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL) or equivalent industry experience.
