The Business Transition team is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their team located in Homebush West.

Your New Role:
Reporting to the Head of Business Transition, you will play a critical role in transformational business initiatives and projects. Your primary focus will be on undertaking investigative work, problem definition and interpreting data to determine business opportunities, benefits, risks, options and requirements. To achieve this, you will:

  • Define the Governance Frameworks and report to the identified stakeholders
  • Conduct reviews of business units to identify business improvement opportunities resulting in strategic outcomes
  • Research and define identified business problems, including the people, process & technology aspects
  • Provide relevant timely and insightful commentary that outlines compelling reasons to drive change that will deliver measurable results on identified business initiatives
  • Develop business cases and professional presentations for stakeholder engagement & endorsement
  • Develop reporting as required to support the key functions within the broader team
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other business departments to achieve objectives
  • Establish and maintain exceptional stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organisation

About you

With a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally from a retail background, you will have a passion for excellence and the ability to demonstrate a high level experience in the following areas: 

  • Written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI
  • The ability to effectively meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Being a team player. One who will contribute and work effectively although can work autonomously when required
  • Achievements in analytical and conceptual experience of business process and data analysis insights interpretation
  • Experience in process design and transformational projects.
  • Experience working in a Franchise Operating Model organisation preferred but not essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field.
  • Business Analyst certification and / or Business Benefits certification or qualification is desired.
